Distinguished Club Program Goals for 2007-8 TM Year

The Distinguished Club Program is an annual program running from July 1 to June 30 that each club is encouraged to participate in. Toastmasters International has identified ten goals that will make a club strong and healthy, thereby growing members at a personal level. By achieving these goals as a club, the club is providing a positive environment for all members to thrive and achieve their own Toastmaster goals.

Goal Objective Status
1. Two members earn Competent Communicator
2. Two more members earn Competent Communicator
3. One member earns Advanced Communicator Bronze, Silver or Gold
4. One more member earns Advanced Communicator Bronze, Silver or Gold
5. One member earns the CL, AL or DTM designation
6. One more member earns the CL, AL or DTM designation
7. Four new members join the club
8. Four more new members join the club
9. At least 4 officers attend training in the Summer and Winter
10. Two reports on time to TI

In addition, the club must meet a minimum requirement to qualify for DCP: at least 20 members OR a net gain of five new members. Without this base membership requirement, a club cannot be considered for the DCP even if every goal is met.

Achieving 5 of the 10 goals earns the club the title of Distinguished Club, 7 of 10 make the club a Select Distinguished Club, and 9 or more completed goals bestows the title of President's Distinguished Club.
